Many ideas come into existence and go out again as they combine and separate. Fixing a set form onto canvas is to take a thing immaterial and render it permanent. It is said that the mind cannot be seen except by the procession of thoughts that pass through it. This precept is my primary way of working, bypassing preconceived sketches or drawings. I paint directly onto a blank surface allowing shapes to freeform, partly allowing the image to choose its own direction. Using these techniques I consciously and unconsciously visualize an anathema of zoomorphic half unknowns pf bleeding light and skewered geometry. Arcane devises of diaphanous form and cyclopean scale that coalless into a pantheon of mutable forms.
